I am an artist living in Vancouver pursuing my dreams in graphic design and loving every bit of sunshine of the west coast. I am originally from Seoul, Korea and spent most of my youth in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Then, I moved again to Columbus to attend Columbus College of Art and Design to find a new adventure where I had an amazing journey learning new techniques of art such as glass blowing, jewelry making, photography and print making. I am always on the move to expand my horizon so that I could absorb more of the world and melt it into my design. Mostly my inspiration comes from Korean culture using the colors and shapes of the traditional architecture and temples and mixing them with the new inspiration that comes from my adventures in the west coast. My work is flat and shape oriented in style and has a whimsical sense to it. It is simple and minimalistic but at the same time has a lot of details. Also, music, movies, and novels are my huge inspiration and I love listening to foreign music and grasping new languages/cultures, and also playing piano/guitar is a huge part of my hobbies.
